Service bulletins for the 2014 Infiniti Q50
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| EXPIRATION NOTIF | 2021-01-08. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; EQUIPMENT. Expiration Notification - 2G Telematics Hardware Replacement Campaign Summary In 2016, INFINITI launched a Client Satisfaction Initiative (CSI) that provided clients with an opportunity to update the Telematics Control Unit (TCU) in vehicles equipped with a TCU designed to connect to the 2G cellular network. AT&T stopped accepting enrollments on the 2G cellular network, and discontinued its 2G cellular network coverage on December 31, 2016. Once the 2G cellular network was discontinued, there was no access to the INFINITI Connection features without a TCU hardware upgrade. Because AT&T will shut down its 3G network on December 31, 2021, INFINITI is discontinuing this Client Satisfaction Initiative to upgrade from 2G to 3G compatible hardware effective immediately. 3G services will continue to be provided until December 31, 2021. Vehicles equipped with a TCU that connects to the 3G cellular network will have no access to the INFINITI Connection features, including Emergency Calling and Automatic Collision Notification after that time. What Retailers Should Do Service Comm will deactivate PC451, PC452 and PC454 on any VINs on December 22, 2020. No further retailer action is required. |

| ITB19-005 | 2019-03-25. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL; EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:NAVIGATIONAL SYSTEM(GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM); EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:RADIO/TAPE DECK/CD ETC.; EQUIPMENT. CLOCK, AUDIO, HVAC OR NAVIGATION SETTINGS INTERMITTENTLY CHANGE ON THEIR OWN This bulletin applies only to vehicles equipped with INFINITI InTouch (Intelligent Key). SERVICE INFORMATION An Intelligent Key, for the applied vehicles with INFINITI InTouch?, has the abillity to trigger specific customized settings for the radio, clock, heating and air conditioning (HVAC) and navigation that are unique to that key, and each Intelligent Key for a specific vehicle may have different settings stored. EXAMPLE: The vehicle may be driven by more than one person, and each driver has a personal Intelligent Key. Each driver may adjust their preferred vehicle settings differently. If two or more Intelligent Keys with different stored settings are unintentionally interchanged, one or more of the following perceived issues might be reported by the customer(s). - Radio ? Presets are lost or change - Clock ? Settings are not showing the correct time due to day-light savings or the selected region (time zone) - HVAC ? Controls are set differently - Navigation ? Settings suddenly altered If any of these perceived issues are present: - Confirm if there are multiple Intelligent Keys being used by the customer(s) interchangeably, and if so, verify that each key?s settings are different. NOTE: Customer may not recognize that different Intelligent Keys are linked differently. |
