- [24V470000](/recalls/nhtsa/24V470000.md), 2024-06-21: POWER TRAIN:DRIVELINE:DRIVESHAFT. Nissan North America, Inc. \(INFINITI\) is recalling certain 2011\-2013 M56, 2012\-2013 M35 Hybrid, 2014\-2018 Q50, Q70 Hybrid, 2014\-2019 Q70, and 2015\-2019 Q70L two\-wheel drive vehicles.  The driveshaft can fatigue and break. Built 2010\-04\-07 to 2013\-09\-09.
- [20V755000](/recalls/nhtsa/20V755000.md), 2020-12-07: POWER TRAIN:DRIVELINE:DRIVESHAFT. Nissan North America, Inc. \(Nissan\) is recalling certain 2011\-2013 Infiniti M56, 2012\-2013 M35 Hybrid, and 2014 Q70 and Q70 Hybrid vehicles.  These models, equipped with 2WD and with a hybrid or VK56 powertrain, have a driveshaft that may break.
- [16V527000](/recalls/nhtsa/16V527000.md), 2016-07-12: HYBRID PROPULSION SYSTEM. Nissan North America, Inc. \(Nissan\) is recalling certain model year 2012\-2013 Infiniti M35 Hybrid vehicles manufactured March 23, 2010, to September 9, 2013.  A system overheat condition may cause the hybrid powertrain control module to shut off the engine. Built 2010\-03\-23 to 2013\-09\-09.

- [2024362](/recalls/tc/2024362.md), 2024-06-21: Powertrain. Issue: On certain vehicles, the driveshaft may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the driveshaft could break and cause a loss of power to the wheels. Additionally, if the vehicle is parked and the parking brake isn't applied, the vehicle could roll away. Note: This recall only affects two\-wheel\-drive \(2WD\) models.  Safety Risk: A loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. A parked vehicle that rolls away could also create the risk of an injury or a crash.  Corrective Actions: Nissan will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the driveshaft.
- [2020601](/recalls/tc/2020601.md), 2020-12-08: Powertrain. Issue: On certain vehicles, the propeller shaft \(driveshaft\) could break while driving and cause a loss of power to the wheels. In severe cases, a propeller shaft failure could also damage the parking brake. If this happens, there may be no way to stop movement of the vehicle when it is parked. This could allow the vehicle to roll away.  Safety Risk: A loss of power to the wheels or a vehicle rollaway could increase the risk of a crash.  Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the propeller shaft.
- [2016358](/recalls/tc/2016358.md), 2016-07-11: Powertrain. On certain hybrid vehicles, if the vehicle continues to be operated for a prolonged period of time following a cooling system malfunction that causes the vehicle to overheat, the hybrid powertrain control module will shut off the engine, as designed, to prevent damage.  This could cause the engine to shut off while the vehicle is in motion, which would result in a loss of motive power which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will reprogram the software for the hybrid control module, automatic transmission control unit and inverter to allow the engine to continue operating at reduced power in the event of a cooling system malfunction.  Note: If this were to occur, a warning lamp would illuminate to warn the operator and the brake and steering systems would remain operational.
