American Honda Motor Co., Inc. \(Honda\) is recalling certain 2005\-2010 Honda Odyssey vehicles manufactured June 23, 2004, through September 4, 2010.  In the affected vehicles, the fuel pump strainer cover may deteriorate allowing fuel to leak out. Built 2008\-09\-08 to 2009\-07\-15.
- [12V062000](/recalls/nhtsa/12V062000.md), 2012-02-16: STRUCTURE:BODY:HATCHBACK/LIFTGATE:SUPPORT DEVICE/STRUT; STRUCTURE:BODY:HATCHBACK/LIFTGATE:HINGE AND ATTACHMENTS; STRUCTURE:BODY:HATCHBACK/LIFTGATE. HONDA IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2008\-2009 ODYSSEY VEHICLES, THE GAS\-FILLED STRUTS THAT HELP TO RAISE AND SUPPORT THE LIFTGATE OF VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH A POWER LIFTGATE SYSTEM MAY BE PRONE TO EARLY LIFE FAILURES DUE TO A MANUFACTURING FLAW.  THE FLAW CAN RESULT IN A LEAK OF THE PRESSURIZED GAS, LEADING TO REDUCED STRUT PERFORMANCE. Built 2008\-08\-07 to 2009\-01\-13.
- [09V057000](/recalls/nhtsa/09V057000.md), 2009-02-18: PARKING BRAKE:DRIVELINE:HYDRAULIC:HOSES, LINES/PIPING, AND FITTINGS. HONDA IS RECALLING 421 MY 2009 ODYSSEY VEHICLES.  DURING ASSEMBLY, INCORRECT FRONT BRAKE HOSES WERE INSTALLED.  THE BRAKE HOSE CAN CONTACT THE CALIPER BOLT AND OVER TIME A HOLE MAY DEVELOP WHICH WILL ALLOW BRAKE FLUID TO LEAK.  THIS WOULD EVENTUALLY RESULT IN REDUCED BRAKE SYSTEM PERFORMANCE. Built 2009\-01\-27 to 2009\-02\-03.

- [2014076](/recalls/tc/2014076.md), 2014-03-14: Fuel System. On certain vehicles, the fuel pump strainer could deteriorate and crack.  This could result in a fuel smell and/or fuel leak.  Leaking fuel, in the presence of an ignition source, could lead to a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the fuel strainer cover.
- [2012059](/recalls/tc/2012059.md), 2012-02-16: Other. On certain vehicles equipped with a power liftgate system, the gas\-filled struts \(which help to raise and support the liftgate\) may be prone to early life failures due to a manufacturing flaw.  This could allow the liftgate to drop suddenly, placing anyone beneath or near the gate at risk of personal injury.  Correction: Dealers will replace both liftgate struts.
