# Recalls that may apply to the 2007 Honda Odyssey

A recall listed here may apply to a vehicle of this year, make and model. Only the manufacturer can say whether it applies to one vehicle: check the VIN with the official lookups.

## United States (NHTSA), as of 2026-10-19

- [14V112000](/recalls/nhtsa/14V112000.md), 2014-03-14: FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:DELIVERY:FUEL PUMP. American Honda Motor Co., Inc. \(Honda\) is recalling certain 2005\-2010 Honda Odyssey vehicles manufactured June 23, 2004, through September 4, 2010. In the affected vehicles, the fuel pump strainer cover may deteriorate allowing fuel to leak out. Built 2006\-08\-08 to 2007\-10\-20.
- [13V500000](/recalls/nhtsa/13V500000.md), 2013-11-01: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. American Honda Motor Company \(Honda\) is recalling certain model year 2007\-2008 Honda Odyssey vehicles manufactured August 8, 2006, through September 8, 2008. Due to a combination of system components and software, the Vehicle Safety Assist System \(VSA\) may apply the brakes unexpectedly. Built 2006\-08\-08 to 2007\-10\-20.
- [10V504000](/recalls/nhtsa/10V504000.md), 2010-10-22: SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:FOUNDATION COMPONENTS:MASTER CYLINDER. HONDA IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2005\-2007 ODYSSEY AND ACURA RL VEHICLES. BRAKE FLUID CONTAINING POLYMERS IS USED THAT ACTS AS A LUBRICANT FOR CERTAIN BRAKE SYSTEM COMPONENTS. IF REPLACEMENT BRAKE FLUID IS USED THAT DOES NOT CONTAIN SUCH POLYMERS, OR THAT CONTAINS ONLY SMALL AMOUNTS, A PART OF THE RUBBER SEAL LOCATED AT THE REAR OF THE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER MAY BECOME DRY, AND THE SEAL MAY CURL DURING MOVEMENT OF THE PISTON. IF THIS OCCURS, A SMALL AMOUNT OF BRAKE FLUID COULD SLOWLY LEAK FROM THE SEAL INTO THE BRAKE BOOSTER. Built 2006\-02\-21 to 2007\-02\-05.
- [10V098000](/recalls/nhtsa/10V098000.md), 2010-03-16: SERVICE BRAKES, AIR. HONDA HAS NOTIFIED NHTSA OF A DEFECT IN CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2007 AND 2008 ODYSSEY AND ELEMENT PASSENGER VEHICLES MANUFACTURED BETWEEN JULY 28, 2006 AND AUGUST 21, 2008. AIR CAN ENTER THE VSA MODULAR PUMP DURING AN INITIAL SELF\-CHECK PROCESS THAT OCCURS SHORTLY AFTER EACH TIME THE ENGINE IS STARTED. IT IS POSSIBLE FOR ENOUGH AIR TO ENTER THE SYSTEM TO RESULT IN A BRAKE PEDAL THAT FEELS SOFT OR LOWER TO THE FLOOR. Built 2006\-08\-08 to 2007\-10\-15.

## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2014076](/recalls/tc/2014076.md), 2014-03-14: Fuel System. On certain vehicles, the fuel pump strainer could deteriorate and crack. This could result in a fuel smell and/or fuel leak. Leaking fuel, in the presence of an ignition source, could lead to a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the fuel strainer cover.
- [2013381](/recalls/tc/2013381.md), 2013-11-04: Brakes. On certain vehicles, due to a defect in the Vehicle Stability Assist \(VSA\) system, the brakes may apply unexpectedly while the vehicle is being driven without the driver pressing on the brake pedal. If this were to occur, the brake lamps would also fail to illuminate. These issues could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will affect repairs.
- [2010364](/recalls/tc/2010364.md), 2010-10-22: Brakes. On certain vehicles, a seal in the brake master cylinder may be susceptible to damage which can result in a leak if certain conditions exist. The polymer content affects the amount of lubrication the brake fluid provides to brake system components that are exposed to brake fluid. If the brake fluid is replaced with a low polymer brake fluid, and the brake fluid is subsequently subjected to a manual brake fluid bleeding procedure, as opposed to an automated brake bleed procedure, it is possible for the seal at the end of the brake master cylinder primary circuit to become twisted within its retention groove. If this seal becomes twisted, it can result in a leak of a small amount of brake fluid each time the brake pedal is applied. Should a leak occur, after some time the driver will be alerted by the illumination of the low brake fluid indicator light on the meter panel before any effect on braking performance results. If the driver continues to drive the vehicle without refilling the brake fluid reservoir, the vehicle will eventually exhibit a soft or spongy brake pedal feel, requiring more stroke to achieve equivalent braking force. Eventually, if this continues un\-remedied, braking performance will be affected, and will finally result in a low pedal and a loss of one braking circuit. Correction: Dealers will replace the brake master cylinder seal cup and the master power assembly if brake fluid has leaked.
- [2010079](/recalls/tc/2010079.md), 2010-03-16: Brakes. On certain vehicles, during the self\-check process that occurs shortly after each time the engine is started, the self\-diagnostic software for the Vehicle Stability Assist \(VSA\) brake modulator causes a condition that can allow air to enter the modulator pump. Over time, and after starting the engine numerous times, it is possible for enough air to enter the system to change the brake pedal feel and affect braking performance. Reduced braking performance could lead to a crash causing property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will remove existing air in the brake system then apply sealant and caps to the VSA modulator to prevent air from entering the brake system.
