## United States (NHTSA), as of 2026-10-19

- [21V690000](/recalls/nhtsa/21V690000.md), 2021-09-02: SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:ANTILOCK/TRACTION CONTROL/ELECTRONIC LIMITED SLIP; SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC. Honda \(American Honda Motor Co.\) is recalling certain 2019\-2020 CB500X and CBR500R ABS motorcycles. Excessive grease in the ABS modulator may collect debris, which can get stuck in the check valve and cause a brake fluid leak.
- [21V382000](/recalls/nhtsa/21V382000.md), 2021-05-24: EXTERIOR LIGHTING. Honda \(American Honda Motor Co.\) is recalling certain 2020\-2021 Super Cub C125, CB500X, CB650R, CBR300R, CBR500R, CBR650R, Rebel 300, Rebel 500, Monkey, 2020 CRF250L, GROM, 2021 CRF300L, and CB500F motorcycles. The rear reflector lens may not reflect brightly enough. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard \(FMVSS\) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2021547](/recalls/tc/2021547.md), 2021-09-03: Brakes. Issue: On certain motorcycles, a problem with the antilock brake system \(ABS\) modulator could cause reduced brake pressure. If this happens, the motorcycle may have reduced brake performance. Safety Risk: Reduced brake performance can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Honda will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a Honda Power Sports dealer to inspect the ABS modulator. It will be replaced, if necessary.
- [2021316](/recalls/tc/2021316.md), 2021-05-25: Lights And Instruments. Issue: On certain motorcycles, the rear reflex reflector lens could have a defect that could reduce the amount of light that is reflected. As a result, the reflector may not meet the requirements of Canadian regulations. Safety Risk: A reflector that is difficult to see may make the motorcycle less visible to others. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Honda will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to inspect, and if necessary, replace the rear reflex reflector.
