20230402023-02-02. Fuel System. Issue: On certain trucks equipped with a diesel engine and dual fuel tanks, the rear fuel pump may not transfer enough fuel to the front tank. If this happens, you may notice an engine hesitation and the check engine light may turn on. The engine could also stall suddenly while driving, and you may not be able to restart it. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: General Motors will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealership to inspect the rear fuel tank and fuel pump module, and replace them if necessary. The dealer will also add a fuel tank vent hose.
20190552019-02-08. Fuel System. Issue: On certain 3500 series trucks, the level sensor in the front fuel tank may malfunction. In rare cases, the front fuel tank may over-fill and expand, causing it to contact the driveshaft. Operators may hear a grinding or knocking noise if this happens. This could create a hole in the tank and cause a fuel leak. Note: This problem only affects cab and chassis models equipped with a gasoline engine and dual fuel tanks. Safety Risk: Leaking fuel, in the presence of an ignition source, creates the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to take their vehicle to a dealer to have the rear-tank fuel-pump module replaced. Dealers will also inspect the front tank and replace if necessary.

A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
