On certain trucks equipped with the combination of bendix master cylinder and bendix handrovac frame mounted brake booster, air may be drawn into the brake system past the various seals. Air in the brake system could cause a loss of braking ability and result in vehicle crash without prior warning.
- [1982054](/recalls/tc/1982054.md), 1982-07-07: Other. STEERING SHAFT ASSEMBLY YOKES MAY BE OF AN INCORRECT FORGING STEEL WHICH COULD RESULT IN BRITTLE WELDS BETWEEN THE YOKE AND ITS SHAFT. FAILURE OF THE WELD COULD LEAD TO LOSS OF STEERING.
