The bulletins listed name this code in NHTSA's summary, or are about the same components. A bulletin or a recall listed here may apply to the model year. None of it is a diagnosis.
This code is specific to a manufacturer and is not described here. Its meaning is in the manufacturer's service information.
| 24-01-083G | 2024-12-03. Service campaign. Certain GV60 (JW1 EV) vehicles may exhibit a condition where a cell voltage variation becomes active after charging. The Battery Management System (BMS) software logic could cause an HV battery cell voltage to be misread under specific conditions resulting in a false-positive DTC, MIL on, and 80% maximum HV battery charge limit. There is no other effect on the vehicle and all systems remain operational. With this update the charging logic is also improved for charging calibration and climate control functions in the Genesis Connect app. Regardless of whether the vehicle has an active DTC P1AA900 or not, follow the procedure in this TSB to update the software for the Battery Management System (BMS). |
