## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2026185](/recalls/tc/2026185.md), 2026-04-09: Fuel System. Issue: On certain vehicles, the nuts for the crossover fuel pipe may not have been properly tightened. As a result, fuel could leak. Safety Risk: A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Genesis will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and tighten the nuts or replace the crossover high\-pressure fuel pipe, as necessary.
- [2025091](/recalls/tc/2025091.md), 2025-02-19: Lights And Instruments. Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the instrument panel cluster display\(s\) not to display properly, or at all when the vehicle is started. As a result, you may not be able to see certain information about the vehicle, including the speedometer, fuel gauge, warning lights and malfunction tell\-tales. Note: For the GV70 model, this recall affects both the GV70 and Electrified GV70 \(EV\) models. Safety Risk: Warnings, tell\-tales and gauges that don't display could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Genesis will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the instrument panel cluster display software.
- [2024701](/recalls/tc/2024701.md), 2024-11-18: High Voltage. Issue: Over time, the integrated charging control unit \(ICCU\) could become damaged. As a result, the 12 V battery will not charge and could cause the vehicle to enter a reduced power mode. If this happens, and you continue to drive the vehicle, there could be a loss of power to the wheels. Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall no. 2024\-174. Vehicles that were repaired under that recall also require this repair. This problem will cause a warning light to turn on and warning messages to display before any loss of power. For the Genesis GV70 and G80 models, only the electric versions \(EV\) are affected. Safety Risk: A loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Hyundai will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the vehicle software. The dealer will also inspect and, if necessary, replace the ICCU and ICCU fuse.
- [2024235](/recalls/tc/2024235.md), 2024-04-19: Fuel System. Issue: On certain vehicles, the low\-pressure fuel pump could fail when the outside temperature is high. If this happens, the engine may run rough or may not start. This could also result in a sudden loss of engine power while driving. Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall no. 2023\-505. Vehicles that were repaired under that recall don't require this repair. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Hyundai will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the fuel pump.
- [2024174](/recalls/tc/2024174.md), 2024-03-15: High Voltage. This recall was replaced by Transport Canada recall no. 2024\-701. Issue: Over time, the integrated charging control unit \(ICCU\) could become damaged. As a result, the 12 V battery will not charge and could cause the vehicle to enter a reduced power mode. If this happens, and you continue to drive the vehicle, there could be a loss of power to the wheels. Note: This problem will cause a warning light to turn on and warning messages to display before any loss of power.
- [2023074](/recalls/tc/2023074.md), 2023-02-17: Seats And Restraints. Issue: On certain vehicles, there may be a problem with the front seat belt pretensioners. As a result, the driver and/or passenger seat belt pretensioners could explode in a crash. If this happens, small pieces of metal could hit people in the vehicle. Note: This recall replaces recall R0200 \(Transport Canada Recall No. 2021\-627\). Vehicles that were repaired under that recall also require this repair. Safety Risk: A seat belt pretensioner that explodes could create a risk of injury. Corrective Action: Genesis will notify owners by mail and instruct you to bring your vehicle to a dealership to install protective caps over the driver and front passenger's seat belt pretensioners, as necessary.
