- [20V297000](/recalls/nhtsa/20V297000.md), 2020-05-22: TRAILER HITCHES; EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE/TRAILER. Forest River, Inc. \(Forest River\) is recalling certain 2020\-2021 Surveyor Travel Trailers, model SVT296QBLE.  The safety chains are insufficient for the trailer's Gross Vehicle Weight Rating \(GVWR\) and may break in the event of the trailer coming unhitched.

- [2020223](/recalls/tc/2020223.md), 2020-05-22: Other. Issue: Certain travel trailers were equipped with safety chains that are not strong enough. As a result, if the trailer becomes uncoupled from the tow vehicle, the safety chains could break. This could allow the trailer to detach from the tow vehicle.  Safety Risk: A trailer that separates from the tow vehicle could create the risk of a crash.  Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealer to replace the safety chains with stronger ones.
