| 2020285 | 2020-06-25. Structure. Issue: On certain travel trailers or motorhomes equipped with frameless windows, the glass may not be properly attached to the metal hinges. As a result, the glass could separate from the hinge and fall from the trailer. Safety Risk: A window that detaches from the trailer could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Forest river will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your travel trailer or motorhome to a dealer to inspect the adhesive bonding on the window glass. Dealers will replace the glass, if necessary. |

This could make it difficult or impossible to use the exit window in an emergency. Safety Risk: An emergency exit that is blocked could increase the risk of injury in an emergency. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer for modifications. The current exit window will be removed and a new one installed on the side opposite to the roof ladder. |
