If the vehicle exhibits a wheel bearing noise and/or DTCs C0031 and/or C0034, remove the front wheel speed sensor \(WSS\). Refer to Workshop Manual \(WSM\), Section 206\-09. Using a shop rag, clean any debris from the sensor body as well as the back side of the bearing. If the noise is gone, use the Report a Vehicle Concern link at the bottom of the OASIS report and fill out the form. Monitor OASIS for updates. If the noise or DTCs C0031 and/or C0034 is still present, continue with normal diagnostics.
