TO PROVIDE THIS FUNCTIONALITY, A SPECIAL OVERLAY WIRE HARNESS WAS INSTALLED THAT INADVERTENTLY DID NOT INCLUDE THE CIRCUITS FOR PASSENGER AIR BAG DEACTIVATION INDICATOR \(PADI\) LAMP FUNCTION.  AS A RESULT, THESE VEHICLES DO NOT COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 208, 'OCCUPANT CRASH PROTECTION.' Built 2006\-02\-13 to 2006\-02\-15.

ON CERTAIN TRUCKS, PASSENGER CARS AND SPORT UTILITY VEHICLES, THE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR MAY HAVE BEEN PRODUCED WITHOUT GREASE BEING APPLIED TO THE OUTPUT SHAFT GEAR. Built 2000\-09\-12 to 2005\-10\-17.

- [2005356](/recalls/tc/2005356.md), 2005-11-10: Other. On certain vehicles, the windshield wiper motor may have been produced without grease applied to the output shaft gear.  After a period of continuous use on the high\-speed setting, lack of grease may cause the gear teeth to distort and/or fracture during operation, resulting in the loss of wiper function.  Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if required, apply grease to the output shaft gear.
