| 2025484 | 2025-09-12. Seats And Restraints. Issue: On certain vehicles, the driver and passenger-front seat belt pretensioner cable could corrode over time. As a result, the cable could break and the seat belt may not hold a person during a crash. Safety Risk: A seat belt that doesn't work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the seat belt(s). The dealer will also modify the floor covering around the seat belt anchor pretensioner cables. |

| 2024605 | 2024-10-11. Seats And Restraints. Issue: Ford Motor Company of Canada is conducting a parts recovery campaign targeting a random sample of 2015-2017 Ford Mustang vehicles in the Montreal area built between February 11, 2014 and October 2, 2017. The driver and front passenger seat belt assemblies are being recovered to aid in Ford's analysis in support of Transport Canada defect investigation file no. 3280-38-20. Note: This action is not being conducted under the requirements of the Motor Vehicle Safety Act. Safety Risk: No safety defect has been identified with these seat belts. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify select owners by mail and advise them to take their vehicle to a dealership to replace the driver and front passenger seat belts at no charge. |
| 2015508 | 2015-10-27. Seats And Restraints. Certain vehicles may not comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (CMVSS) 210.1 - User-ready Tether Anchorages for Restraint Systems and (CMVSS) 209 – Seat Belt Assemblies. Front and rear seat belts may have been damaged prior to installation and may fail to conform to CMVSS 209 assembly performance standards, and the strength requirements of the CMVSS 210.1 standard. These issues could result in the belts not adequately restraining occupants in a crash, increasing the risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace both front seatbelt retractors and pretensioners as well as both rear seatbelt retractors, rear seatbelt buckles, and rear child safety seat tether anchors. |
A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
