## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2025484](/recalls/tc/2025484.md), 2025-09-12: Seats And Restraints. Issue: On certain vehicles, the driver and passenger\-front seat belt pretensioner cable could corrode over time. As a result, the cable could break and the seat belt may not hold a person during a crash. Safety Risk: A seat belt that doesn't work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the seat belt\(s\). The dealer will also modify the floor covering around the seat belt anchor pretensioner cables.
- [2025449](/recalls/tc/2025449.md), 2025-09-03: Visual System. Issue: On certain vehicles, there could be a problem with the connections inside the rearview camera. As a result, the rearview camera image may not display correctly or at all when the transmission is shifted into reverse. Note: For certain models, this recall also affects incomplete vehicles. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that doesn't display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the rearview camera.
- [2024605](/recalls/tc/2024605.md), 2024-10-11: Seats And Restraints. Issue: Ford Motor Company of Canada is conducting a parts recovery campaign targeting a random sample of 2015\-2017 Ford Mustang vehicles in the Montreal area built between February 11, 2014 and October 2, 2017. The driver and front passenger seat belt assemblies are being recovered to aid in Ford's analysis in support of Transport Canada defect investigation file no. 3280\-38\-20. Note: This action is not being conducted under the requirements of the Motor Vehicle Safety Act. Safety Risk: No safety defect has been identified with these seat belts. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify select owners by mail and advise them to take their vehicle to a dealership to replace the driver and front passenger seat belts at no charge.
- [2022070](/recalls/tc/2022070.md), 2022-02-16: Visual System. Issue: On certain vehicles, opening and closing the trunk lid could damage the wiring for the rearview camera. If this happens, the rearview camera image may not display properly when you shift to reverse. Also, there could be a problem with the connections inside the rearview camera. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that does not display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the rearview camera and/or inspect and repair the decklid wiring.
- [2016527](/recalls/tc/2016527.md), 2016-10-25: Engine. On certain vehicles equipped with 5.2 litre V8 engines, the engine oil cooler tube assembly may have insufficient crimps. This could lead to a hose separating, which would cause an oil leak. The sudden loss of engine oil could result in an engine failure causing a loss of motive power, and an oil leak, in the presence of an ignition source could result in a fire. Both of these conditions could increase the risk of injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will replace the engine oil cooler tube assembly.
- [2015508](/recalls/tc/2015508.md), 2015-10-27: Seats And Restraints. Certain vehicles may not comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standards \(CMVSS\) 210.1 \- User\-ready Tether Anchorages for Restraint Systems and \(CMVSS\) 209 – Seat Belt Assemblies. Front and rear seat belts may have been damaged prior to installation and may fail to conform to CMVSS 209 assembly performance standards, and the strength requirements of the CMVSS 210.1 standard. These issues could result in the belts not adequately restraining occupants in a crash, increasing the risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace both front seatbelt retractors and pretensioners as well as both rear seatbelt retractors, rear seatbelt buckles, and rear child safety seat tether anchors.
