- [26V582000](/recalls/nhtsa/26V582000.md), 2026-09-09: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:PROPULSION SYSTEM:TRACTION BATTERY:MANAGEMENT SYSTEM/ENERGY CONTROL MODULE \(BMS/BECM\):SOFTWARE. Ford Motor Company \(Ford\) is recalling certain 2023\-2025 Mustang Mache E vehicles that received a new Battery Energy Control Module \(BECM\) during a prior repair. The battery energy control module software may cause an incorrect state of charge to display in the vehicle, or lead to an increased risk of a high voltage battery fire after repeated DC Fast Charging cycles. Built from 2023\-07\-03.
- [26V487000](/recalls/nhtsa/26V487000.md), 2026-07-28: STRUCTURE:EXTERIOR TRIM. Ford Motor Company \(Ford\) is recalling certain 2023\-2025 Mustang Mach E vehicles. The rear side quarter window glass trim may be improperly secured, which can allow it to detach. Built from 2023\-02\-17.
- [26V417000](/recalls/nhtsa/26V417000.md), 2026-06-30: POWER TRAIN:DRIVELINE:DIFFERENTIAL UNIT. Ford Motor Company \(Ford\) is recalling certain 2021\-2023 Mustang Mach E vehicles. The rear differential pinion shaft may fracture. Built to 2025\-08\-21.

Ford Motor Company \(Ford\) is recalling certain 2021\-2025 Mustang Mach E vehicles. In the event of a low battery charge, the electronic door latches may remain locked once the driver or front passenger exits and shuts the door, possibly trapping someone who is unable to use the inside door release handles, such as a child in the back seat.

A software error may cause the rearview camera image to delay, freeze, or not display when the vehicle is in reverse. Built 2020\-03\-17 to 2023\-12\-15.
- [24V594000](/recalls/nhtsa/24V594000.md), 2024-08-09: VISIBILITY:WINDSHIELD WIPER/WASHER:MOTOR. ## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2026431](/recalls/tc/2026431.md), 2026-09-09: High Voltage. Issue: This recall is for certain vehicles that had a battery energy control module \(BECM\) replaced during service. On certain vehicles, the replacement battery energy control module may not have been programmed correctly. As a result, the state of charge could display incorrectly, so a person may not recognize the low state of charge, which could cause a loss of power to the wheels. Additionally, this could lead to the high\-voltage battery overheating after repeated fast charging. Safety Risk: A loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. A battery that overheats can create a fire risk. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the battery energy control module software.
- [2026368](/recalls/tc/2026368.md), 2026-07-28: Structure. Issue: On certain vehicles, the left and right rear quarter window glass trims may not have been secured properly. As a result, the trim\(s\) could loosen and separate from the vehicle. Safety Risk: Trim that detaches from the vehicle could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the rear quarter window glass trims.
- [2026317](/recalls/tc/2026317.md), 2026-06-30: Powertrain. Issue: On certain vehicles, the differential pinion shaft could break and cause a loss of power to the wheels. This could also cause the vehicle to move when the transmission is in Park, if the parking brake is not used. Note: This recall only affects rear\-wheel drive models. Safety Risk: A loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a parked vehicle that moves suddenly could create the risk of an injury or a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to repair or replace the rear differential assembly, as necessary.
- [2025326](/recalls/tc/2025326.md), 2025-06-13: Electrical. Issue: Under certain conditions, the electronic door latches could stay locked after the driver and/or front passenger exit the vehicle. As a result, you may not be able to open the doors from the outside, or an occupant that's unable to use the inside door handle\(s\) may not be able to exit the vehicle on their own. Safety Risk: Doors that can't be opened from the outside could delay emergency responders from entering the vehicle. This could also slow certain occupants from exiting the vehicle in an emergency. Both issues could increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the powertrain control module \(PCM\) and secondary on\-board diagnostic control module \(SOBDMC\) software.
- [2025260](/recalls/tc/2025260.md), 2025-05-09: Visual System. Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the rearview camera image not to display or to freeze when the transmission is shifted into reverse. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that doesn't display correctly could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and send a wireless over\-the\-air software update to eligible vehicles to update the SYNC software. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the update performed at a Ford dealership.
- [2024692](/recalls/tc/2024692.md), 2024-11-08: Visual System. Issue: On certain vehicles, the windshield wiper motor may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the motor could fail and cause the windshield wipers not to work. Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall no. 2024\-461. Vehicles that were repaired under that recall don't require this repair. Safety Risk: Windshield wipers that don't work could reduce visibility and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the windshield wiper motor.
- [2024461](/recalls/tc/2024461.md), 2024-08-12: Visual System. This recall was replaced by Transport Canada recall no. 2024\-692. Issue: On certain vehicles, the windshield wiper motor may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the motor could fail and cause the windshield wipers not to work. Safety Risk: Windshield wipers that don't work could reduce visibility and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the windshield wiper motor.
