20260792026-02-20. Lights And Instruments. Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem with the integrated trailer module (ITRM) may cause the trailer lights not to work when towing. This problem could also cause the trailer brakes not to work on certain vehicles. Note: This problem would cause a "Trailer brake module fault" message to be displayed and turn signal telltale to flash rapidly. This recall also affects certain Super Duty incomplete vehicles. Safety Risk: Trailer lights that don't work could make the vehicle less visible and cause following drivers not to recognize that the vehicle is braking or intends to turn or change lanes. These issues could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a loss of trailer brakes could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and send a wireless over-the-air software update to eligible vehicles to update the ITRM software. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the update performed at a Ford dealership.
20251032025-03-02. Lights And Instruments. Issue: On certain vehicles, the recall repairs completed by a Ford dealer during recall 22C24 (Transport Canada recall no. 2022-562) may not have been done correctly. As a result, a second repair is required. On certain vehicles, a programming error in the control module for the antilock braking system (ABS) could cause the brake lamps to turn on or stay on when the driver is not braking. Note: This recall only affects vehicles equipped with a 2.0 L EcoBoost engine and towing package. Safety Risk: Brake lamps that turn on or stay on when the vehicle is not braking could cause confusion for other drivers and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the ABS control module software.

Issue: On certain trucks, the recall repairs completed by a Ford dealer during recall 24C01 (Transport Canada recall no. 2024-125) may not have been done correctly. As a result, a second repair is required. On certain trucks, a software problem could cause the backlight for the instrument cluster display not to work. As a result, warnings, tell-tales and gauges may not display properly. Note: This recall only affects Maverick hybrid models. Safety Risk: Safety warnings, tell-tales and gauges that don't display properly could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the instrument panel cluster software.

Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to update the body control module software.
20250862025-02-14. Lights And Instruments. Issue: On certain vehicles, the recall repairs completed by a Ford dealer during recall 23C41 (Transport Canada recall no. 2023-671) may not have been done correctly. As a result, a second repair is required. On certain trucks, the turn signal telltale may flash at the same speed when a turn signal bulb fails. As a result, you may not notice when a turn signal bulb is not working. Canadian regulations require a change in the turn signal flash rate when a bulb fails. Safety Risk: A turn signal telltale that doesn't work properly could cause you to be unaware when a turn signal bulb fails. Additionally, turn signals that do not work may cause a person not to recognize when a driver intends to turn or change lanes. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the body control module (BCM).
