SSM 517382023-06-30. Service bulletin. Some 2023 F-Super Duty vehicles may set diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U211B:87 in various modules when a diagnostic self-test is performed, which includes: powertrain control module (PCM), advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), anti-lock brake system (ABS), power steering control module (PSCM), body control module (BCM), telematics control unit (TCU), driver door module (DDM), and/or passengers door module (PDM). This may be due to the modules DTC sensitivity during vehicle key-on/start-up. Replacement or reprogramming of these module(s) may not resolve this condition. U211B:87 should be ignored if: no other DTCs are present, no warning indicators are illuminated while the engine is running and no noticeable symptoms are present. No further service action is required.
SSM 516752023-06-08. Service bulletin. Some 2023 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with SYNC 4 may experience programming errors after a replacement of the body control module (BCM) for various concerns. After programmable module installation (PMI) of the new BCM, diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) U2100:00, U2101:00 and/or U211B:87 may be present. Download and run the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) application titled Trusted Real-Time Operation Network (TRON) Module Authentication, and perform the TRON Diagnosis and Repair and Reset ECU on CAN BUS routines. Once both TRON routines have been completed, re-run the BCM PMI application. Verify that all BCM DTCs have cleared. Service procedures are being updated to improve this process. Monitor OASIS for updates.
