Additionally, the driver will be able to shift back to park. Diagnostic trouble codes \(DTC\) P2701, P2704, P0757, and/or P0733 may be stored in the powertrain control module \(PCM\). This may be due to PCM software being unable to command the transmission solenoid clutch actuators when the battery has a low state of charge \(SOC\) and/or the vehicle has been jump started. Some 2022\-2024 F\-550 and F\-600 F\-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 10R140 automatic transmission and 6.7L diesel engine may exhibit an illuminated powertrain malfunction \(wrench\) indicator with diagnostic trouble codes \(DTCs\) P2704 and P0771 stored in the transmission control module \(TCM\) with poor shift quality and over 5,000 miles \(8,000 km\) in service. This may be due to wear between the input shaft and the E clutch hub causing the input shaft O\-rings to become damaged resulting in an open E clutch circuit. To correct this condition, follow the Service Procedure to replace the E clutch hub and input shaft O\-rings.
