## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2026161](/recalls/tc/2026161.md), 2026-04-01: Visual System. Issue: On certain trucks, the windshield wiper arms may not have been manufactured correctly. As a result, the wiper arm\(s\) could break or become detached and may not wipe the windshield properly. Safety Risk: Windshield wipers that do not work properly could affect a driver's visibility. Windshield wiper\(s\) that detach from the vehicle could create a road hazard for others. Both issues could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.
- [2026122](/recalls/tc/2026122.md), 2026-03-17: Fuel System. Issue: On certain vehicles, the recall repairs completed by a Ford dealer during recall 24S78 \(Transport Canada recall no. 2024\-780\) may not have been done correctly. As a result, a second repair is required. On certain vehicles, the high\-pressure fuel pump could fail. If this happens, the engine may run rough and the check engine light may turn on. This could also cause a sudden loss of engine power while driving. Note: This recall only affects certain vehicles equipped with a 6.7 L diesel engine. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the powertrain control module software.
- [2026079](/recalls/tc/2026079.md), 2026-02-20: Lights And Instruments. Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem with the integrated trailer module \(ITRM\) may cause the trailer lights not to work when towing. This problem could also cause the trailer brakes not to work on certain vehicles. Note: This problem would cause a "Trailer brake module fault" message to be displayed and turn signal telltale to flash rapidly. This recall also affects certain Super Duty incomplete vehicles. Safety Risk: Trailer lights that don't work could make the vehicle less visible and cause following drivers not to recognize that the vehicle is braking or intends to turn or change lanes. These issues could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a loss of trailer brakes could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and send a wireless over\-the\-air software update to eligible vehicles to update the ITRM software. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the update performed at a Ford dealership.
- [2025260](/recalls/tc/2025260.md), 2025-05-09: Visual System. Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the rearview camera image not to display or to freeze when the transmission is shifted into reverse. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that doesn't display correctly could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and send a wireless over\-the\-air software update to eligible vehicles to update the SYNC software. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the update performed at a Ford dealership.
- [2023341](/recalls/tc/2023341.md), 2023-06-09: Seats And Restraints. Issue: On certain vehicles, the owner's manual doesn't include instructions for how to remove or adjust the head restraint for the centre seating positions. Canadian regulations require this information be included in the owner's manual. Safety Risk: Missing instructions for how to remove or adjust head restraints could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and provide you with an owner's manual insert with instructions for how to remove and adjust the centre seat head restraints.
- [2022280](/recalls/tc/2022280.md), 2022-05-30: Label. Issue: The compliance label on certain vehicles may be missing the tire size, rim type, and tire inflation pressure information. This could lead you to inflate the tires incorrectly or install the wrong wheels and tires. These errors could lead to poor handling or a tire failure. Safety Risk: Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the compliance label.
