THE HEATER ELEMENT IN THESE ASSEMBLIES MAY BE DEFECTIVE WHICH COULD CAUSE THE UNIT TO CREATE SMOKE OR SPARKS.

THERE MAY BE AN INSUFFICIENT WELD ATTACHING THE HITCH CHANNEL TO THE SUPPORTING STRUCTURE. Built 2006\-10\-23 to 2008\-07\-15.

WHEELED COACH IS RECALLING 215 MY 2008 F\-350, F\-450, AND F\-550 RESCUE VEHICLES BUILT ON FORD CHASSIS AND EQUIPPED WITH 6.4L DIESEL ENGINES.  IT HAS BEEN DETERMINED THAT THE CONNECTION OF THE MASTER SWITCH YELLOW 16GA WIRE TO THE OEM PTO ENABLE CIRCUIT DISRUPTS THE REGENERATION MODE WHEN THE MASTER SWITCH IS IN THE "ON" POSITION.  THE REGENERATION MODE FAILURE WILL EVENTUALLY CAUSE THE 6.4L DIESEL ENGINE TO REDUCE POWER AND ENTER IN TO A LIMP HOME MODE. Built 2007\-12\-11 to 2007\-12\-13.

ON CERTAIN TRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH A 6.4L DIESEL ENGINE, EXCESSIVE TEMPERATURES IN THE DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER IN THE EXHAUST SYSTEM MAY RESULT FROM EXCESS HYDROCARBONS IN THE EXHAUST. Built 2006\-06\-13 to 2007\-03\-09.

- [2019420](/recalls/tc/2019420.md), 2019-08-21: Other. Issue: This recall is for aftermarket replacement rear window glass produced by Vitro Automotriz. Certain rear window glass may not have been properly tempered. If the window breaks, the glass may separate into large pieces instead of very small ones. Note: This is a voluntary recall that is not being conducted under the requirements of the Motor Vehicle Safety Act.  Safety Risk: Glass that breaks in to large pieces could create a risk of injury.  Corrective Actions: The company will notify consumers by mail and instruct them to inspect the designation code marked on the rear window glass. Products affected by this recall have the designation “DOT 287” along with the lettering “VMR” \(Replacement Market\) and a date code that is before July 2019. This information is printed on the bottom corner of the glass. Consumers should contact Vitro's customer service at 1\-412\-995\-6457 or argbacklites@vitro.com to arrange for replacement of the glass.
- [2018043](/recalls/tc/2018043.md), 2018-01-22: Electrical. On certain vehicles equipped with an IOTA 50 amp transfer switch which is used to switch power between on\-vehicle generator and shoreline power. Under certain heavy duty cycles, the lugs on the buss bar may loosen. Under high electrical loads, loose electrical connections could cause the circuit to overheat, which would increase the risk of fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the IOTA switch.
- [2008066](/recalls/tc/2008066.md), 2008-02-26: Seats And Restraints. Certain vehicles equipped with an adjustable lumbar support and a 40/20/40 split bench seat or captain's chair bucket seat configuration, may have improper welds at the joint of the seat back pivot bracket and the seat back frame.  If the weld fractures while the vehicle is in motion, the seat back may recline unexpectedly.  The occupant could lose contact with the steering wheel or foot pedals during such an event, which could increase the risk of a crash.  Correction: Dealers will install a reinforcement to the seat back frame.
- [2007100](/recalls/tc/2007100.md), 2007-03-27: Electrical. On certain trucks equipped with 6.4L diesel engines, insufficient clearance between the positive battery cable and the right hand splash shield bolt may result in wire chaffing damage and the risk of an electrical short.  If this occurs, possible heat or fire damage to the cable and/or other components, either under\-hood or near other possible ground points on the vehicle, may occur.  Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, reposition the positive battery cable.
- [2007099](/recalls/tc/2007099.md), 2007-03-27: Engine. On certain trucks equipped with 6.4L diesel engines, excessive temperatures in the diesel particulate filter may cause a visible flame out the tailpipe.  Excessively hot exhaust or flames emitting from the tailpipe, in the presence of combustible material, may result in a fire, or may result in personal injury if a person is in close proximity to the tailpipe.  Correction: Dealers will reprogram the powertrain control module.
