Review of repair data supports that P206C is often the result of incorrect diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) concentration. Per Powertrain Control/Emissions Diagnosis (PC/ED) Pinpoint Test (PPT) RJ, a DEF concentration reading below 28% will set P206C and cause vehicle derate. If low concentration is suspected, drain fluid and replace with known good DEF before replacing any parts. Low concentration of DEF is not a warrantable condition.
SSM 494412021-02-04. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. Some 2020-2021 Super Duty vehicles equipped with an 10R140 automatic transmission may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) and/or powertrain malfunction (wrench) indicator lamp with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P0715, P0716, P0717, P0718, P07BF and/or P07C0 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). If any of these DTCs are set, focus diagnostics on the turbine shaft speed sensor (TSS) and/or TSS circuits. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 307-01. Replacement of the ISSA or ISSB sensor will not correct this condition.
SSM 494302021-02-04. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. 2011-2021 F-Super Duty and 2016-2021 F-650/F-750 vehicles equipped with a 6.7L engine may exhibit a high/elevated idle condition. During prolonged idle time, vehicles may experience this high/elevated idle to reduce buildup of unburned hydrocarbons from the SCR system. The powertrain control module (PCM) estimates hydrocarbon levels in the SCR and may increase idle speed to remove them. Idle speed will be increased to 1000 revolutions per minute (rpms) for ambient temperatures near 26C (80F) and may increase to as high as 1200 rpms at -40 C (-40F). These elevated idle periods can last from 20-40 minutes, depending on ambient temperatures. During power take off (PTO) use and already using idle set point control, the elevated speed is disabled. It is required that the operator monitor the vehicle and adhere to the Exhaust Filter warning messages.
SSM 494262021-02-04. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT. Some 2020 Ford and Lincoln vehicles may exhibit the vehicle locator feature display the vehicle location incorrectly when using the Ford Pass/Lincoln Way mobile app. Customers may report that the vehicle location that is displayed is the Ford manufacturing facility were the vehicle was assembled, yet all other features work as intended. This may be due to the vehicle location not updating since assembly. If all other Ford Pass/Lincoln Way features work correctly except for the vehicle location, open the customer connectivity settings on the SYNC display and verify that the location setting is enabled. If the setting is currently enabled, disable and then re-enable the feature. If the vehicle location is still displayed incorrectly in the app, follow Workshop Manual section 415-00 for further diagnosis.

The vehicle may also exhibit harsh engagements, poor shift quality and/or loss of 9th gear as a result of the DTC being set. If no additional DTCs or symptoms are present, clear keep alive memory and transmission adaptive tables with the appropriate Ford diagnostic scan tool, and perform an adaptive learning drive cycle. Transmission replacement is not necessary. Inform customers that a further improved calibration will be available in early March 2021. Let the customer know they can continue to drive the vehicle after performing this SSM, and schedule a service appointment for early March 2021. Monitor OASIS for updates.
TSB 20-23752021-01-05. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; POWER TRAIN. Some 2020 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 10R140 automatic transmission may exhibit a harsh engagement/harsh shift/delayed shift with or without an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) or diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P0729, P0731, P0732, P0733, P0734, P0735, P0736, P076F, P07D9, P07F6, P07F7, P0751, P0756, P0761, P0766, P0771, P2707, P2700, P2701, P2702, P2703, P2704 and/or P2705 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM) or transmission control module (TCM). This may be due to sticking valves in the main control valve body. Most vehicles will improve and no longer exhibit the condition after the first 8,000 km (5,000 mi) of driving. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure steps to perform the transmission accelerated main control break in routine for the appropriate clutch(es) and/or replace the main control valve body.
