## Bulletins for this model year that name P0766

- [10203716](https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10203716), 2021-12-01: This article supersedes TSB 21\-2240 to update the parts list. Some 2020 Escape vehicles equipped with front\-wheel drive \(FWD\), a 1.5L EcoBoost engine and an 8F24 transmission may exhibit no reverse engagement with diagnostic trouble codes \(DTCs\) P0766 and P2703 stored in the powertrain control module \(PCM\). This may be due to small particles in the electronic selectable one\-way clutch \(SOWC\), causing the internal lever of the electronic SOWC not to deploy correctly. To correct this condition, follow the Service Procedure to replace the electronic SOWC and the fluid filter.
- [10200744](https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10200744), 2021-09-02: Some 2019\-2021 Edge/Nautilus/Transit Connect, 2020\-2021 Escape/Corsair and 2021 Bronco Sport vehicles equipped with a 8F35 transmission may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp \(MIL\) with diagnostic trouble code \(DTC\) P0766 stored in the powertrain control module \(PCM\) and/or intermittent no reverse engagement concerns. This may be due to contamination in the main control valve body separator plate orifice. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure steps to clean the contamination from the main control plate.
- [10199537](https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10199537), 2021-08-02: Some 2020 Escape vehicles equipped with front\-wheel drive \(FWD\), a 1.5L EcoBoost engine and an 8F24 transmission may exhibit no reverse engagement with diagnostic trouble codes \(DTCs\) P0766 and P2703 stored in the powertrain control module \(PCM\). This may be due to small particles in the electronic selectable one\-way clutch \(SOWC\), causing the internal lever of the electronic SOWC not to deploy correctly. - [10187829](https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10187829), 2021-03-02: Some 2020 Escape vehicles equipped with front\-wheel drive \(FWD\), a 1.5L EcoBoost engine and an 8F24 transmission built before 07\-Aug\-2020 may exhibit no reverse engagement with diagnostic trouble codes \(DTCs\) P0766 and P2703 stored in the powertrain control module \(PCM\). This may be due to small particles in the electric selectable one\-way clutch \(SOWC\), causing the internal lever of the electric SOWC not to deploy correctly. To correct this condition, follow the Service Procedure to replace the electric SOWC and the fluid filter.
