## Bulletins for this model year that name P04DB

- [10191177](https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10191177), 2021-05-04: Some 2020 Escape vehicles equipped with a 1.5L EcoBoost engine built on or Before 21\-Jul\-2020 may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp \(MIL\) with diagnostic trouble code \(DTC\) P04DB stored in the powertrain control module \(PCM\). This may be due to various strategies within the PCM software. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure steps to replace the crankcase ventilation tube assembly and reprogram the PCM.
- [10186425](https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10186425), 2021-02-04: This article supersedes TSB 21\-2007 to update the Service Procedure. Some 2020 Escape vehicles equipped with a 1.5L EcoBoost engine may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp \(MIL\) with diagnostic trouble code \(DTC\) P04DB stored in the powertrain control module \(PCM\). To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure steps to replace the crankcase ventilation tube assembly and reprogram the PCM.
- [10186412](https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10186412), 2021-02-04: Some 2020 Escape vehicles equipped with a 1.5L EcoBoost engine may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp \(MIL\) with diagnostic trouble code \(DTC\) P04DB stored in the powertrain control module \(PCM\). To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure steps to replace the crankcase ventilation tube assembly and reprogram the PCM.
- [10176122](https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10176122), 2020-06-04: Some 2020 Escape vehicles built on or after 10\-Jan\-2020, equipped with a 1.5L EcoBoost engine may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp \(MIL\) with only diagnostic trouble code \(DTC\) P04DB in the powertrain control module \(PCM\). If this DTC is retrieved with other DTCs, diagnose those first. Engineering data has confirmed that DTC P04DB is typically a green engine and/or low mileage concern that will not repeat if a crankcase ventilation system concern is not present. Inspect the crankcase ventilation tube at the rear air intake system connection for a partial disconnect. If the crankcase ventilation tube is not disconnected and no concern is identified after performing Powertrain Control and Emission Diagnosis \(PC/ED\) Manual pinpoint test HG, clear the DTC using the appropriate Ford scan tool and return the vehicle to the customer.
