Service bulletins for the 2020 Ford Ecosport

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

SSM 488092020-06-04. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; EQUIPMENT:APPLIANCE:AIR CONDITIONER. Some 2018-2020 Ecosport vehicles may exhibit the HVAC module being unable to communicate with the FDRS Diagnostic Scan Tool. This is caused by an issue with the FDRS tool. Do not replace the HVAC module only because it will not communicate with the FDRS Diagnostic Scan Tool.
SSM 484442020-02-04. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some 2020 Ford and Lincoln vehicles may exhibit a symptom of no ability to schedule a remote start event using the FordPass or Lincolnway app. If only the scheduling portion of the remote start system is not functioning, no repair attempts should be made to correct this condition. If the remote start system is not functioning using the key fob and/or the on-demand remote start function from FordPass or Lincolnway application, refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 303-06 for further diagnosis. Do not attempt repairs at this time. Engineering is currently investigating, monitor OASIS for updates.
