- [26V118000](/recalls/nhtsa/26V118000.md), 2026-03-03: BACK OVER PREVENTION:WARNINGS:EXTERNAL/PEDESTRIAN ALERT. Ford Motor Company \(Ford\) is recalling certain 2026\-2027 E\-350 and E\-450 vehicles. The backup alarm connector may become loose and detach, preventing the alarm from sounding when the vehicle is backing up. Built 2025\-08\-25 to 2025\-12\-08.

## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2026096](/recalls/tc/2026096.md), 2026-03-03: Other. Issue: On certain vehicles, the electrical connector for the backup alarm could loosen and disconnect. As a result, the vehicle may not make a reverse warning sound when backing up. Note: This recall only affects certain incomplete vehicles.  Safety Risk: A backup alarm that doesn't work correctly could create confusion and increase the risk of injury for other road users.  Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the exterior sounder connector on the frame wiring harness.
