Ford Motor Company \(Ford\) is recalling certain 2021\-2022 E\-350 and E\-450 vehicles equipped with dual rear wheels.  An inadequate connection between the power steering pressure line and the brake hydroboost unit may result in a sudden loss of power steering fluid. Built 2019\-05\-11 to 2021\-06\-17.

Ford Motor Company \(Ford\) is recalling certain 2022\-2023 E\-350, E\-450, and 2021\-2022 F\-59 vehicles.  The paint along the weld seam of the fuel tank may peel and lead to corrosion of the exposed metal, which can result in a fuel leak.

An inadequate connection between the power steering pressure line and the brake Hydroboost unit may result in a sudden loss of power steering fluid.

## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2024085](/recalls/tc/2024085.md), 2024-02-11: Steering. Issue: On certain vehicles, the power steering pressure line may not be properly connected to the brake booster. As a result, power steering fluid could leak and cause a loss of power steering and power brake assist. Note: Vehicles that were inspected under recall 22S08 \(Transport Canada recall 2022\-073\) also require this repair. This recall only affects certain E\-series incomplete vehicles equipped with dual rear wheels.  Safety Risk: A loss of power brakes can cause a potential sudden increase in brake pedal force and lead to an increase in stopping distance. A loss of power steering assist can cause a sudden increase in steering effort, especially at low speeds. Both could increase the risk of a crash.  Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the power steering pressure line and the brake booster line.
- [2022720](/recalls/tc/2022720.md), 2022-12-15: Fuel System. Issue: On certain vehicles, paint on the fuel tank seam could peel off. Over time, the fuel tank could corrode and create a fuel leak.  Safety Risk: A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire.  Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the fuel tank, and replace it if necessary.
- [2022073](/recalls/tc/2022073.md), 2022-02-17: Steering. Issue: On certain vehicles, the power steering pressure line may not be properly connected to the brake booster. As a result, power steering fluid could leak and cause a loss of power steering and power brake assist. Note: This recall only affects certain E\-series incomplete vehicles equipped with dual rear wheels.  Safety Risk: A loss of power brakes can cause a potential sudden increase in brake pedal force and lead to an increase in stopping distance. A loss of power steering assist can cause a sudden increase in steering effort, especially at low speeds. Both could increase the risk of a crash.  Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the connection between the power steering pressure line and the Hydroboost unit. The power steering line will be replaced if the connection is not secure.
