Flash: Surge, Shudder Or Pulsation At Highway Speeds This bulletin involves selectively erasing and reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with new software. A small number of customers may experience a surge, shudder or pulsation type sensation when driving on smooth road surfaces at highway speeds of 37-62 mph (60-100 km/h). Some customers may also describe the sensation similar to that of a fish biting on a fishing line (fishbite) .If the customer complains of the above condition, perform the Repair Procedure.

Upon further investigation, the technician may find the following DTCs set in the PCM memory: · **U0140 - Lost Communication With Body Control Module (BCM) (10-12 MY only). · Auto Shutdown (ASD) Relay Enhancements To Improve Fuel Pump Relay Initialization At Key On - (10-12 MY only).** · P0401 - EGR System Performance. In addition the customer may notice one of the following conditions: · Hard to start, long crank time or even a no start. The customer may describe that If the gas pedal is pushed slightly the vehicle starts as expected (11 MY KA only).

Mopar offers an alternative product (82213192) which is a water based product approved for sale in the aforementioned states.~ ~ Please inform the customer & your prep dept that spraying excessive amounts of the fabric protector on load floors will result in the breaking down of the adhesive (glue) that is used to create the bond between the fabric (carpet) and the load floor. This will apply to any vehicles equipped with rear load floors such as WK, WD, PM, MK, KA, KK. The carpet will appear to be loose, wrinkly, or bunch up~
