- [17V432000](/recalls/nhtsa/17V432000.md), 2017-07-07: AIR BAGS:FRONTAL. Chrysler \(FCA US LLC\) is recalling certain 2011\-2015 Dodge Journey vehicles.  In the affected vehicles, the driver's frontal air bag may unexpectedly deploy if the air bag wiring harness gets chafed within the steering wheel and short circuits. Built 2010\-10\-14 to 2015\-04\-20.
- [16V273000](/recalls/nhtsa/16V273000.md), 2016-05-06: STEERING:HYDRAULIC POWER ASSIST:HOSE, PIPING, AND CONNECTIONS. Chrysler \(FCA US LLC\) is recalling certain model year 2009\-2016 Dodge Journey vehicles manufactured July 31, 2007, to November 12, 2016.  After exposure to cold temperatures, the power steering return hose may rupture at engine start\-up causing a loss of power steering assist. Built 2007\-07\-31 to 2015\-11\-12.
- [15V431000](/recalls/nhtsa/15V431000.md), 2015-07-07: ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE. Chrysler \(FCA US LLC\) is recalling certain model year 2011\-2015 Dodge Journey vehicles manufactured July 19, 2010, to May 26, 2015 and equipped with 2.4L engines.  In the affected vehicles, the engine cover may detach from the engine and contact the exhaust manifold. Built 2010\-07\-19 to 2015\-05\-26.

CHRYSLER IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2011DODGE JOURNEY, JEEP WRANGLER, CHRYSLER 200, CHRYSLER 200 CONVERTIBLE, DODGE AVENGER, DODGE NITRO, JEEP LIBERTY, DODGE CALIBER, JEEP COMPASS, JEEP PATRIOT, DODGE GRAND CARAVAN AND CHRYSLER TOWN \& COUNTRY VEHICLES.  SOME OF THESE VEHICLES MAY HAVE BEEN BUILT WITH A MISSING OR INCORRECTLY INSTALLED STEERING COLUMN PIVOT RIVET. Built 2011\-05\-13 to 2011\-05\-14.

- [2017336](/recalls/tc/2017336.md), 2017-07-07: Airbag. On certain vehicles, an electrical short could occur in the steering wheel wiring harness, which could result in an inadvertent deployment of the driver frontal airbag. Unintended airbag deployment, in a non\-warranted \(non\-impact\) situation, could startle the driver, which could result in a vehicle crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. In some instances, inadvertent deployment could cause minor injuries to vehicle occupants. Correction: Dealers will inspect the steering wheel wiring and replace it as necessary. A protective covering will also be installed on the wiring harness.
- [2016202](/recalls/tc/2016202.md), 2016-05-05: Steering. On certain vehicles, the power steering return hose could rupture at engine start up if the vehicle is exposed to extended cold weather conditions. A power steering hose leak could result in the loss of power steering assist and increased steering effort, which depending on the driver's reactions and traffic conditions, could increase the risk of a crash resulting in injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the return side power steering lines with new parts that are validated for extreme cold weather performance.
- [2015297](/recalls/tc/2015297.md), 2015-07-02: Engine. On certain vehicles equipped with a 2.4L engine, the engine cover could shift over time due to road vibrations.  If the engine cover were to displace, it could result in the cover contacting the exhaust manifold, which could result in a fire, increasing the risk of injury and/or property damage.  Correction: Dealers will install an enhanced retaining device to the engine cover.
- [2011224](/recalls/tc/2011224.md), 2011-06-10: Steering. Certain vehicles may have been built with a missing or incorrectly installed steering column pivot rivet.  A steering column with a miss\-installed rivet may not perform as intended in the event of a crash, which may increase the risk of personal injury.  Correction: Dealers will inspect for steering column rivet presence and alignment, and repair as required.
