Flash: Transmission Diagnostic and Shift Enhancements This bulletin involves reprogramming the Transmission Control Module (TCM) withthe latest available software. A small number of customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technicianmay find the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) set in the PCM memory:U0401-00 - Implausible Data Received From ECM/PCM (Sales Code ERC only). In addition some customers may experience one or more of the following condition:Poor shift quality on coast-down shifts (bumps) (Sales Code EZH only). During an engine limp mode condition, the transmission remains in a fixedgear. The following software enhancements are also available:Start Stop quality enhancement (WK with Sales Code ERC only). Transmission shift quality enhancement.

RH and LH Exhaust Resonators If replacing resonator due to alignment issues between exhaust tips and rear fascia, please call the Design Release Engineer Spencer Hayes at cell (517) 215-0520 to review. Intake Manifold Gasket Intake Manifold Gaskets on Pentastar Upgrade (Sales Code ERC/ERF) are reusable provided they are not cut, torn or melted. The gaskets are not required by warranty to be replaced like they are on Pentastar Classic (ERB/EHB). The new gaskets are not interchangeable with Pentastar Classic Intake Manifold Gaskets.

If the dealer is located in the Detroit Metro Area, Engineering may send a representative to review with technician. Any information is appreciated. If a response is not received within 15 mins , then proceed with the necessary repair.
