PIP5168F	2018-02-21. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN:AXLE ASSEMBLY:AXLE SHAFT; BACK OVER PREVENTION; FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE. This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician on the steps to diagnose and repair vehicles that may have a no crank concern. Technician will need to check the valve train for movement when the engine is cranked. If the valve train is not moving while the crankshaft is moving the front cover will need to be removed to inspect for a sheared cam sprocket locator pin. If the cam sprocket locator pin has sheared, replace the engine assembly. If the valve train is rotating during inspection, disconnect the Camshaft Position sensor and check if the engine will start. If the engine starts front cover will need to be removed to inspect for a sheared cam sprocket locator pin. If the cam sprocket locator pin has sheared, replace the engine assembly. If the engine does not start with the Camshaft Position sensor disconnected the follow published “Engine Cranks But Does Not Run” diagnosis in Service Information. Also perform an Engine Compression Test and Cylinder Leakage Test in Service Information documents all results. If the Service Information procedures above isolate an engine mechanical concern then removed to inspect for a sheared cam sprocket locator pin. If the cam sprocket locator pin has sheared, replace the engine assembly.

Also no radio, OnStar, or speech audio and the volume is unable to be adjusted from the integrated center stack or the steering wheel controls. The driver information center will show ?No Audio? in Audio mode. Technician will need to inspect X275 and X225 for bent terminals, terminals backing out of the connector, or terminals contacting another terminal behind each side of the connector and repair as necessary.

This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that may have the rear vision camera system displaying "Rear Park Assist Symbols Unavailable" and the steering grid lines displayed do not show. Dealer will need to communicate to the customer that we apologize for this inconvenience and that General Motors is working on a solution for this concern.
PIC5611E	2017-08-15. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:RADIO/TAPE DECK/CD ETC.; BACK OVER PREVENTION: CAMERA SYSTEM. This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about the rear view camera options on the vehicles equipped with rear view camera. The rear view camera brightness can be adjusted on some models while the transmission is in reverse and using the Menu or Select button. To turn off or on the guidelines in the rear view camera, use the radio display Config icon then Display, then the guidelines option.

This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have that may have Service Front Camera, Service Lane Departure Warning, and Service Lane Keep Assist Message. Technician may find Diagnostic Trouble Code B1008 Sym 4B set. Technician will need to check the windshield to ensure it is not aftermarket. Technician will also check for anything that may impair the front view camera and ensure the camera is properly mounted.
