Built 2008\-04\-25 to 2009\-06\-17.

- [2019420](/recalls/tc/2019420.md), 2019-08-21: Other. Issue: This recall is for aftermarket replacement rear window glass produced by Vitro Automotriz. Certain rear window glass may not have been properly tempered. If the window breaks, the glass may separate into large pieces instead of very small ones. Note: This is a voluntary recall that is not being conducted under the requirements of the Motor Vehicle Safety Act. Safety Risk: Glass that breaks in to large pieces could create a risk of injury. Corrective Actions: The company will notify consumers by mail and instruct them to inspect the designation code marked on the rear window glass. Products affected by this recall have the designation “DOT 287” along with the lettering “VMR” \(Replacement Market\) and a date code that is before July 2019. This information is printed on the bottom corner of the glass. Consumers should contact Vitro's customer service at 1\-412\-995\-6457 or argbacklites@vitro.com to arrange for replacement of the glass.
- [2016340](/recalls/tc/2016340.md), 2016-06-30: Electrical. On certain vehicles, the front passenger seat frame may damage the wires of the passenger presence sensor \(PPS\) module. If this occurs, the system may fail to detect an occupant in passenger seat and improperly suppress the front passenger airbag. The damage could also cause the airbag fuse to short, disabling air bags and seatbelt pretensioners. These issues could increase the risk of injury to vehicle occupants in a crash where airbag and/or pretensioner deployment is warranted. Correction: Dealers will inspect wiring and repair as necessary, as well as apply protective anti\-abrasion tape. Note: If the passenger airbag is suppressed, the passenger airbag status indicator would indicate that the passenger airbag is off even when a passenger is sitting in the front passenger seat. In addition, the "service airbag" message would be displayed in the driver information centre \(DIC\). This could also cause the cluster gauges and DIC alerts to intermittently turn off or not function properly.
- [2014246](/recalls/tc/2014246.md), 2014-06-23: Electrical. On certain vehicles, a defect in the ignition switch could allow the switch to move out of the "run" position if the key ring is carrying added weight or the vehicle goes off\-road or is subjected to some other jarring event. If this were to occur, engine power, power steering and power braking would be affected, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. The timing of the key movement out of the “run” position, relative to the activation of the sensing algorithm of the crash event, may also result in the airbags not deploying in a subsequent collision, increasing the risk of injury. Correction: For each key, dealers will install two key rings and modify the key ring opening shape. Note: Until the correction is performed, all items should be removed from the key ring.
- [2012255](/recalls/tc/2012255.md), 2012-08-03: Suspension. On certain Chevrolet Impala police vehicles, the front control arms may fracture. If this occurs, some tire "squeal" or "chirping" may be heard when turning at low speeds. Sudden changes could occur in vehicle handling and, particularly at higher speeds, the driver may not be able to control the vehicle and a crash could occur, which may result in personal injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will replace both control arms.
- [2010352](/recalls/tc/2010352.md), 2010-10-13: Seats And Restraints. Certain vehicles fail to conform to Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 210 \- Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages. The front seatbelt webbing may not have been properly secured to the lap belt anchor pretensioner mounted to the side of the seat nearest the door. As a result, the seatbelt may not restrain the occupant as intended during a crash, which could result in injury to the occupant. Correction: Dealers will inspect both front seatbelts for proper installation of anchors to pretensioners and, if necessary, reinstall the anchors.
- [2008364](/recalls/tc/2008364.md), 2008-10-07: Airbag. On certain vehicles, the passenger\-side airbag inflator was not built to GM's Specification and could fracture during a deployment. Pieces of the inflator could strike and injure occupants and the airbag cushion would not inflate fully therefore reducing the capability of the airbag to protect the passenger. Correction: Dealers will install a new passenger\-side airbag.
