## United States (NHTSA), as of 2026-10-19

- [18V304000](/recalls/nhtsa/18V304000.md), 2018-05-10: FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE. General Motors LLC \(GM\) is recalling certain 2016\-2018 Chevrolet Cruze LS vehicles, equipped with a gasoline engine and a tire inflator kit instead of a spare tire. The vehicles may leak gasoline following a rear\-impact crash and a rollover. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard \(FMVSS\) number 301, "Fuel System Integrity." Built 2015\-11\-09 to 2018\-05\-01.
- [17V057000](/recalls/nhtsa/17V057000.md), 2017-01-26: SEATS:FRONT ASSEMBLY:HEAD RESTRAINT. General Motors LLC \(GM\) is recalling certain 2016\-2017 Chevrolet Cruze vehicles. A bracket used in the driver or front passenger seat\-back recliner mechanism may have been incorrectly welded to the seat\-back frame, as a result, in the event of a crash, the head\-restraints may not function properly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard \(FMVSS\) number 202a, "Head Restraints." Built 2016\-06\-28 to 2016\-07\-21.

## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2018251](/recalls/tc/2018251.md), 2018-05-11: Fuel System. Certain models equipped with a tire inflator kit may fail to comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard \(CMVSS\) 301 – Fuel System Integrity. The company’s internal testing indicates that, under certain conditions in a rollover following a severe rear\-impact crash, a sensor attached to the fuel tank may contact the rear floor panel, and possibly cause a fuel leak. Fuel leakage, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will install a lock\-ring on the fuel tank that shields the vapour pressure sensor.
