## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2000174](/recalls/tc/2000174.md), 2000-08-28: Airbag. On certain vehicles, the side impact airbags may deploy unexpectedly, without a crash, as the vehicle is started or during normal driving. A driver or right front passenger in the proper driving or seating positions and using safety belts could receive minor injuries, such as bruising, from contact with a deploying side impact airbag. However, a driver or right front passenger that is too close to an inflating airbag could receive more serious injuries. Correction: Dealers will replace the driver and passenger side impact sensing modules.
- [1997091](/recalls/tc/1997091.md), 1997-04-28: Brakes. Certain vehicles may exhibit a condition in which the electronic brake control module or the electronic brake and traction control module may cause the antilock brake system \(ABS\) to cycle during a non\-ABS application. This may result in an increase in stopping distance and a possible vehicle crash. Correction: Dealers will replace the electronic brake control module.
