BMW of North America, LLC \(BMW\) is recalling certain 2025 Mini Cooper S, Mini Countryman S All4, X2, 2024 Rolls\-Royce Spectre, 2023\-2025 i7, 7 Series, X7, 2024\-2025 i5, 5 Series, 2023\-2024 XM, X1, 2024\-2025 X6, and X5 vehicles. The integrated brake \(IB\) system may malfunction and result in a loss of power brake assist or cause the Antilock Brake \(ABS\) and Dynamic Stability Control \(DSC\) systems to not function properly.

The front passenger knee air bag may not deploy as intended.

BMW of North America, LLC \(BMW\) is recalling certain 2024 X5 sDrive40i, X5 xDrive40i, X5 M60i, X5 M, xDrive 50e, 2024 X6 xDrive40i, X6 M60i, X6 M, 2024 X7 xDrive40i, X7 M60i, Alpina XB7, and 2023 XM vehicles.  The knee air bag \(driver and/or passenger\) may not have been manufactured correctly, which can result in the knee air bag not deploying as intended.
- [23V294000](/recalls/nhtsa/23V294000.md), 2023-04-26: ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM:EMISSION CONTROL:CATALYTIC CONVERTOR. BMW of North America, LLC \(BMW\) is recalling certain 2023 X7 M60i and XM vehicles.  The fasteners that connect the exhaust system and the catalytic converter may not have been tightened correctly.

## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2024544](/recalls/tc/2024544.md), 2024-08-15: Label. Issue: On certain vehicles, the tire and loading information label does not list that there is no spare tire in both official languages. The label reads as "NONE" when it should read as "NONE / AUCUN". Canadian regulations require the information to be listed on the label in both English and French.  Safety Risk: This error does not affect vehicle safety.  Corrective Actions: This is not a recall. The company has corrected the tire and loading information label for all new vehicles.
- [2024456](/recalls/tc/2024456.md), 2024-08-12: Brakes. Issue: On certain vehicles, a problem with the integrated brake system could cause reduced power brake assist. As a result, there may be reduced braking and the antilock braking system \(ABS\) and dynamic stability control \(DSC\) may not work. Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall no. 2024\-087.  Safety Risk: Reduced braking can cause extended stopping distances and could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, antilock brake and stability control systems that don't work could increase the risk of a crash.  Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the integrated brake system.
- [2024087](/recalls/tc/2024087.md), 2024-02-12: Brakes. This recall was replaced by Transport Canada recall no. 2024\-456.  Issue: On certain vehicles, a problem with the integrated brake system could cause reduced power brake assist.
