BMW of North America, LLC is recalling certain 2025\-2026 X3 vehicles. While the vehicle is stationary, unexpected steering wheel movement \(rotation\) may occur. Built to 2025\-10\-20.

- [2025682](/recalls/tc/2025682.md), 2025-12-12: Steering. Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the steering wheel to move suddenly.  Safety Risk: A steering wheel that moves suddenly could increase the risk of a crash and/or injury.  Corrective Actions: BMW will notify owners by mail and send a wireless over\-the\-air software update to eligible vehicles to update the steering system software. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the update performed at a BMW dealership.
