- [26V524000](/recalls/nhtsa/26V524000.md), 2026-08-12: STEERING:LINKAGES:KNUCKLE:SPINDLE:ARM. BMW of North America, LLC \(BMW\) is recalling certain 2024\-2026 X3 sDrive30i, X3 30 xDrive, and X3 M50 xDrive vehicles. The steering spindle may have been incorrectly attached to the steering column.

BMW of North America, LLC is recalling certain 2025\-2026 X3 vehicles. While the vehicle is stationary, unexpected steering wheel movement \(rotation\) may occur. Built from 2024\-08\-14.

BMW of North America, LLC \(BMW\) is recalling certain 2025 330i, 330i xDrive, 530i, 530i xDrive, 4 Series Coupe \(430i, 430i xDrive\), 4 Series Convertible \(430i, 430i xDrive\), 4 Series Gran Coupe \(430i, 430i xDrive\) and X3 30 xDrive vehicles.  The electrical connection between the starter\-generator and battery may come loose.

BMW of North America, LLC \(BMW\) is recalling certain 2025 X3 30 xDrive and X3 M50 xDrive vehicles.  The rear brake hoses may leak, causing a loss of rear brake function, and a loss of the Antilock Brake System \(ABS\) and the Dynamic Stability Control \(DSC\) system. Built 2025\-02\-06 to 2025\-02\-07.

The connection between the positive battery cable and the starter\-generator may have been improperly tightened and overheat.
- [24V909000](/recalls/nhtsa/24V909000.md), 2024-12-05: SUSPENSION:FRONT:WHEEL BEARING. BMW of North America, LLC \(BMW\) is recalling certain 2025 X3 30 vehicles.  The front wheel left\-side swivel bearing may crack, causing a loss of vehicle handling and control.
- [24V856000](/recalls/nhtsa/24V856000.md), 2024-11-12: AIR BAGS:SIDE/WINDOW:CURTAIN. BMW of North America, LLC \(BMW\) is recalling certain 2025 X3 30 xDrive vehicles.  The gas generator in the right\-side head curtain air bag may have been assembled incorrectly.
- [24V772000](/recalls/nhtsa/24V772000.md), 2024-10-17: AIR BAGS:PASSENGER SIDE FRONTAL:CUSHION. BMW of North America, LLC \(BMW\) is recalling certain 2025 X3 xDrive30i and X3 M50i vehicles.  The front passenger air bag fabric may have been damaged during transport between suppliers.

## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2025682](/recalls/tc/2025682.md), 2025-12-12: Steering. Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the steering wheel to move suddenly.  Safety Risk: A steering wheel that moves suddenly could increase the risk of a crash and/or injury.  Corrective Actions: BMW will notify owners by mail and send a wireless over\-the\-air software update to eligible vehicles to update the steering system software. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the update performed at a BMW dealership.
- [2025168](/recalls/tc/2025168.md), 2025-04-01: Electrical. Issue: On certain vehicles, the power connector for the starter\-generator may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the connection between the connector and the positive battery cable may be loose. If this happens, there could be a loss of power to the wheels and/or the connection could overheat.  Safety Risk: A loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Wiring that overheats could increase the risk of a fire.  Corrective Actions: BMW will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership. For certain vehicles, the dealer will replace the starter\-generator and positive battery cable. For other vehicles, the dealer will inspect and, if necessary, replace the starter\-generator and positive battery cable.
- [2025096](/recalls/tc/2025096.md), 2025-02-21: Electrical. Issue: On certain vehicles, the connection securing the cable from the 48 V battery to the starter\-generator may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the connection could loosen and cause a short circuit and/or a loss of power to the wheels. Note: This recall only affects certain vehicles equipped with a 2.0L engine.  Safety Risk: A short circuit could increase the risk of a fire. A loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash.  Corrective Actions: BMW will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, tighten the nuts. The dealer will replace the 48 V battery cable and/or the starter\-generator, as necessary.
- [2024544](/recalls/tc/2024544.md), 2024-08-15: Label. Issue: On certain vehicles, the tire and loading information label does not list that there is no spare tire in both official languages. The label reads as "NONE" when it should read as "NONE / AUCUN". Canadian regulations require the information to be listed on the label in both English and French.  Safety Risk: This error does not affect vehicle safety.  Corrective Actions: This is not a recall. The company has corrected the tire and loading information label for all new vehicles.
