ON CERTAIN MOTORCYCLES, IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE 3RD AND 4TH TRANSMISSION GEAR \(SHIFT\) WHEELS MAY NOT BE SECURELY SEATED ON THE INTERMEDIATE SHAFT.  CONSEQUENTLY, WHEN ATTEMPTING TO SHIFT FROM 5TH TO 6TH GEAR, ENGAGEMENT OF THE TWO GEARS MAY OCCUR SIMULTANEOUSLY. Built 2002\-09\-01 to 2002\-10\-31.

- [2004026](/recalls/tc/2004026.md), 2004-01-23: Fuel System. On certain motorcycles, the crimp\-type hose clamps along the fuel line may not have been installed properly and could leak.  Fuel leakage in the presence of an ignition source could result in a fire.  Correction:  Dealer will inspect, and if necessary, adjust all crimp\-type hose clamps.
- [2003258](/recalls/tc/2003258.md), 2003-10-23: Engine. On certain motorcycles, the signal from the ignition lead of the secondary spark plug on the right hand cylinder could interfere with the oxygen sensor signal and cause the engine management control unit to reset.  As a result, throttle response can be poor to the extent of engine misfire.  Correction:  Dealer will reroute the oxygen sensor cable.
