# Service bulletins for the 2024 BMW G 310 GS

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

2 bulletins from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

- [MC630124](/bulletins/11000584.md), 2024-05-31, Service bulletin: EXTERIOR LIGHTING. Headlight is misted over. Headlights are vented to the atmosphere this means they have openings for air to flow through. Because ofthis the headlights are not waterproof. Mist is the result of condensation forming on cooler surfaces. For mist or condensation to form; the air temp, humidity, air pressure and surface temp of the headlightdiffuser must meet specific criteria. This means that condensation can form differently on bikes, even if they are sitting next to each other.
- [B611305](/bulletins/10249027.md), 2024-02-01, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. The electrical system of BMW vehicles has been subject to an ongoing development process over the last few years. This has led to increased demands being placed on the battery. This document covers important information for the dealer on how to handle “discharged battery” complaints.
