- [13V549000](/recalls/nhtsa/13V549000.md), 2013-11-01: WHEELS. BMW of North America, LLC \(BMW\) is recalling certain model year 2007\-2009 F 800 S and F 800 ST motorcycles manufactured August 2006 through January 2009.  Due to incorrect tolerances, the rear wheel drive bearing and rear axle may wear. Built 2006\-08\-01 to 2009\-01\-31.

## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2017428](/recalls/tc/2017428.md), 2017-09-01: Lights And Instruments. Certain motorcycles with dealer installed accessory turn signals may not comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard \(CVMSS\) 108 \- Lighting System and Retroreflective Devices. The size of the lens on the accessory turn signals may be too small, and therefore would not meet the requirements of the standard. This could reduce vehicle conspicuity to following and approaching road users, and increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will replace the accessory turn signals with factory indicators that meet the requirements of the standard.
- [2013380](/recalls/tc/2013380.md), 2013-11-04: Powertrain. On certain motorcycles, the rear wheel bearing could wear abnormally, which would cause play in the rear wheel assembly. This could be noticed though an  abnormal noise or harshness during riding. In some cases, rear wheel speed could be reduced at low speeds while coasting \(when clutch is depressed\), potentially affecting vehicle handling and increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect rear wheel bearings and replace with an updated design if necessary.
