19981971998-10-14. Heater And Defroster. On certain vehicles, failure of a cooling system component such as thermostat, water pump or fan belt can result in a significant increase in coolant temperature and system pressure. Increased system pressure could result the formation of a crack or separation of a seam in the heater core end piece which would cause hot coolant to be expelled from the heater core. This hot fluid could contact car occupants resulting in possible personal injury and/or fogging of the interior window surfaces. Correction: Radiator cap will be replaced with a new design cap in order to avoid buildup of excessive pressure in the cooling system.
19931001993-07-19. Heater And Defroster. On certain 318I, 325I and M3 vehicles, elevated pressure in the cooling system due to overheating could result in cracking of the heater core end piece. Should this happen, coolant could be expelled onto the lower right leg of the driver, possibly resulting in personal injury and/or fogging of the interior surfaces of the windows causing reduced driver vision. Correction: A thermistatic bypass valve will be installed to control coolant temperature in the heater core. Also, a new design radiator cap will be installed to control pressure and provide greater overflow.

A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
