Service bulletins for the 2019 Bentley Continental

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

828 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

2052785/62021-10-05. Service bulletin. SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC. Brake noise identification. Customer statement / workshop findings: Noise complaint from the braking system. Workshop findings: The noise can be reproduced and clearly assigned to the braking system. Technical background Brake noises can be attributed to many causes. Eight of the most common causes are: - Brake discs or pads are close to their wear limit. - New brake pads and/or discs have not been properly bedded in after installation. - Aftermarket pads or discs are installed. - There is debris such as small stones, grit, road salt or sand between the brake disc and pad. - Discs are covered in rust. Rust can form when the vehicle has been stationary for long periods of time (Figure 1).
2051726/52021-10-05. Service bulletin. SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC. New Continental GT brake squeal. Customer statement / workshop findings: Possible brake squeal in certain conditions. Technical background: A dynamically adjusted high-performance brake system is fitted on the new Continental GT for a high braking performance and an appropriate pedal feel. As a result of this braking performance brake noises or vibrations from the brake system cannot be completely ruled out under certain unfavourable environmental or driving conditions. Measure: Upon customer complaint, raise a DISS technical query and provide a noise recording using Chassis Ear Kit WT 10437.

Customer statement / workshop findings: The following issues could be evident during PDI or found whilst in service - Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) found not operating to specification - EPB may not hold the car effectively - Parking brake components showing signs of wear - Parking brake warning light may also be evident within the DIP (See example shown in Figure 1). Measure: Carry out a full inspection of the (Electronic Parking Brake EPB) system including the following components: - Right and left hand (EPB) Actuators - Right and left hand rear brake shoes (EPB)
2064200/12021-09-04. Service bulletin. SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC. Brake pedal - Groan/Creak noise can be heard during brake pedal operation. Customer statement / workshop findings: Groaning/creaking noise heard from the brake pedal during light application, in particular when the vehicle is at operating temperature. Technical background: Refer to the video on the Bentley Hub referencing TPI 2064200/- In the event the noise is the same as shown within the video, the operative should raise a non technical DISS query ensuring a clear video of the issue is attached, the operative should then carry out the instructions within the Measure section of this TPI.
2053914/92021-06-05. Service bulletin. SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC. 1.5 KHz Front brake squeal when reversing. Customer statement / workshop findings: Front brake squeal at 1.5 KHz when reversing during brake application Technical background: VERY IMPORTANT: This TPI is only applicable to Non-CSiC Brake Systems only NOTE: Warranty payments will only be considered for vehicles which are within the applicable VIN range (see TPI header data) in conjunction with a DISS query with evidence that the applicable frequency was initially evident
2053914/82021-05-07. Service bulletin. SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC. 1.5 KHz Front brake squeal when reversing. Customer statement / workshop findings: Front brake squeal at 1.5 KHz when reversing during brake application Technical background: VERY IMPORTANT: This TPI is only applicable to Non-CSiC Brake Systems only Measure: 1) Carry out an inspection of the brake system to confirm the brake system components are serviceable as per Elsa pro guidelines 2) Follow the Brake noise identification TPI 2052785 - IMPORTANT: For frequency analysis the noise recording equipment Bentley Motors recommends is the Chassis ear tool WT 10437
2063029/12021-05-07. Service bulletin. PARKING BRAKE.
