Customer statement / workshop findings In the event the insulation pad (ARROW - Figure 1) requires replacing, the onward instructions within this TPI must be followed. Technical background The right and left hand tension straps (Figure 2) are no longer fitted at the time of manufacture, the Measure section within this TPI details the procedure which must be followed to fit the tension straps.

Tonneau micro switch mounting bush orientation (SC14/21) Technical background: The tonneau position micro switch assembly is mounted to the vehicle via a brass bush encapsulated in the switch moulding this bush may have been inverted when the switch moulding was formed. When this is the case the switch will become detached from the mounting plate. Ultimately the convertible roof system will fail to operate. Remedy: The tonneau position micro switch assembly on all applicable vehicles should be inspected. A switch moulding found to be incorrectly manufacture should be replaced

Hood replacement - right hand C post headlining guide Customer statement / workshop findings: Convertible roof issue that requires replacement headlining or hood assembly Technical background: In the event that a headlining or hood assembly has to be replaced for any reason then the following guide piece should also be fitted. Fitting this additional guide to control the headlining in the vicinity of the right hand C post will preserve the aesthetic of the replacement headlining in that area

Condition: Customer statement: Noise complaint from the interior Workshop findings: The noise can be reproduced and clearly assigned to the interior Prior to starting the instructions within this TPI, the Retailer must check and confirm the vehicle is in standard factory condition and has not had any non-approved aftermarket modifications conducted Should any aftermarket modifications be found, the Retailer must make Product Support aware by raising a DISS query to report the details of the modification, you must then await feedback from Product Support before conducting any further work Technical Background It is the retailers responsibility to check and confirm if there are any TPIs which are applicable to the customers complaint/issue if there is an applicable TPI available, apply it and complete a DISS complaint to include Workshop findings only (No repair query required). For correct diagnosis and repair the attached Flowchart must be followed in conjunction with the Measure section of this TPI
