THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR THE "B" HOOD ORNAMENT'S RETRACTING MECHANISM TO BECOME CORRODED.  THIS MAY LEAD TO THE "B" HOOD ORNAMENT NOT RETRACTING AS INTENDED WHEN A VEHICLE IS INVOLVED IN A CRASH. Built 2006\-10\-01 to 2009\-03\-30.

- [2010314](/recalls/tc/2010314.md), 2010-09-17: Other. On certain vehicles, the hood ornament's retracting mechanism may become corroded.  This may lead to the hood ornament not retracting as intended when a vehicle is involved in a crash, and may increase the risk of injury to a pedestrian if struck.  Correction: Dealers will replace the retractable mechanism.
