As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 101, "Control and Displays." |

A worn parking brake control valve can leak air into the vent line, creating excessive back pressure and causing the parking brake to release unexpectedly. |

The affected vehicles are equipped with undersized brake chambers, possibly allowing the truck to roll when parked. As a result, the vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 121, "Air brake systems." Built 2008-04-18 to 2019-01-26. |
