The air tanks have an insufficient volume of air for the brake system. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 121, "Air Brake Systems." |

The affected vehicles are configured with dual-drive, right-hand-stand-up cabs. In these vehicles, the locking cotter pin on the brake pedal mounting bracket may not be fully engaged, allowing the brake pedal to detach. Built 2012-08-15 to 2016-01-05. |
