(Volkswagen) is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 Audi SQ5 vehicles manufactured May 22, 2013, to April 14, 2015. The affected vehicles have an electric power steering assist system that may shut down in cold temperatures due to a steering motor sensor fault. Built 2014-05-20 to 2015-04-14. |

| 2015315 | 2015-07-17. Steering. On certain vehicles, during cold ambient temperatures, the electric power steering assist system may shut down as a result of a steering motor sensor fault. This would unexpectedly increase the steering effort force necessary to steer the vehicle at lower vehicle speeds, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will update the power steering control module software. |
