Service bulletins for the 2014 Audi S4
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

The display will not change faster than 4° F (2° C) per minute. This concept applies to both falling and rising temperatures. A programming strategy is also implemented to avoid incorrect readings on a parked vehicle, due to the temperature sensor being affected by outside influences such as radiant heat from the engine bay, elevated road surface temperatures, etc. |

Although the correct amount of oil was added to the engine during an oil change service, a check of the oil level shows that the oil level is not okay. In addition, Skype®, or another network-based communication software, is installed on the phone. Call can be placed directly from the phone without a problem. | A961482 2036344- | 2017-11-08. Service bulletin. LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES:DOORS:LATCH; EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:ANTI-THEFT DEVICES. The vehicle's anti-theft alarm sounds when the driver door is unlocked with a mechanical key. No DTCs are stored. The keyless remote was not used to unlock the vehicle. In order to minimize current draw after the ignition has been turned off, the electronics system of the vehicle goes into sleep mode. During this time, each module monitors the CAN bus more slowly than when the electronics system is awake. Because the system is being monitored more slowly, there is a delay in the waking of the central locking system. This delay causes a delay in the disabling of the anti-theft alarm system when the manual key is used. If the key is turned in less than a quarter of a second, the system can unlock the vehicle even though the anti-theft alarm has not been disabled. |
