Update Bulletin2017-11-08. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:OTHER:OWNERS/SERVICE/OTHER MANUAL. Some vehicles may experience a limp home mode condition due to DPF soot accumulation which could cause the Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) to come on. This Update is in effect until removed. Procedure is valid only for vehicles that show the 23M6 code in the Elsa Campaign/Action Information screen on the day of repair. Vehicle must be within the Federal Emissions. Procedure must be performed within the allotted time frame stated in this Technical Service Bulletin. Procedure must be performed on applicable vehicles in dealer inventory prior to sale. A001463 2033576-2017-11-08. Service bulletin. ENGINE; EQUIPMENT:OTHER:OWNERS/SERVICE/OTHER MANUAL. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 00 number 13-49 dated May 14, 2013. Although the correct amount of oil was added to the engine during an oil change service, a check of the oil level shows that the oil level is not okay. When an unapproved aftermarket speed-filling device is used to add oil to the engine, the increased oil flow rate may force oil into the intake manifold or combustion chamber, creating the potential for engine damage.
A201434 2035073-2017-11-08. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 20 number 14-32 dated March 21, 2014. The MIL is on. DTC P045600 (EVAP System Leak Detected NVLD (very small leak)) is stored in the engine control module (ECM), J623 (address word 01). Drivability is not affected. The NVLD pressure switch may erroneously detect a very small leak.

As a result, the air conditioner compressor is switched off. This Update is in effect until removed. Apple® devices with the new 8-pin plug will not play videos using the Audi Music Interface. The current Apple devices have a new plug assignment: the 30-pin plug has been replaced with an 8-pin plug. The old plug used an analog video transmission, whereas the new plug uses a digital video transmission that is not supported by the Audi Music Interface.
A911437 2030947-2017-11-08. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 91 number 13-92 dated July 16, 2013. The customer complains that when he or she is trying to place a phone call from the vehicle while using a Bluetooth®-connected phone, the phone call disconnects before it begins and an error shows on the MMI display. The message may be "Function not supported" or "Network error". The customer is using a phone with the Android operating system. In addition, Skype®, or another network-based communication software, is installed on the phone. Call can be placed directly from the phone without a problem. When the phone receives the request to place a call from the vehicle, a prompt appears on the phone asking the user to choose how the call should be placed. If the prompt is ignored, the MMI system disconnects the call because it assumes that the phone is not responding.
A641432 2036956-2017-11-08. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL. Left and/or right rear door sunshade may be stuck or inoperative. Due to a faulty signal, the door control unit does not activate the roller blind. If the roller blind is moved up and the window is lowered at the same time, the roller blind will stay in its end position at the top.

Echo effects, caller on either end cannot hear conversation, sound distortion or feedback, and the sound is distorted, hisses, or scrapes occur during a phone call. This bulletin provides guidelines for analyzing the call quality of the Bluetooth system in the vehicle, and is not applicable to any Audi warranty.

Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 91 number 14-26 dated February 24, 2014. The MMI screen goes blank then restarts or the MMI screen freezes for a few minutes then recovers when a phone is connected to the vehicle via Bluetooth when the user searches for a contact name in the MMI address book (by using the MMI control knob or the voice recognition system). This condition occurs because special characters (including symbols, emoticons, or map icons) are stored in the name field of a phonebook contact.
A911427 2036575-2017-11-08. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE; EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:NAVIGATIONAL SYSTEM(GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM). The addresses and contacts stored in the Navigation >> Favorites, Navigation >> Directory, and Navigation >> Last destinations submenus disappear intermittently in vehicles with MMI3G+ Navigation, and in vehicles with or without Audi connect. Intermittently, the MMI system does not appear to remember that the user's myAudi PIN has already been entered, and it requires the user to enter the PIN again in vehicles with Audi connect. If a user stores addresses and contacts in the Navigation >> Favorites, Navigation >> Directory, and Navigation >> Last destinations submenus while a Bluetooth phone is paired to the vehicle, those addresses and contacts will only be visible any time that the same phone is paired to the vehicle. Any time that the same phone is not paired to the vehicle, the addresses and contacts will not be available. If a user stores addresses and contacts in the Navigation >> Favorites, Navigation >> Directory, and Navigation >> Last destinations submenus while a Bluetooth phone is not paired to the vehicle, the addresses and contacts will be available any time. In vehicles with Audi connect, the user is prompted to enter the myAudi PIN when selecting online destinations or when importing contacts from the myAudi account. If the user?s Bluetooth phone (the same phone that was paired to the vehicle when the PIN was entered initially) is paired to the vehicle, the user will not be prompted to re-enter the PIN after it has been entered.

When the driver uses the Bluetooth hands-free telephone system to make a call, the listener on the other end cannot clearly understand the driver. The driver?s voice sounds muffled, as if it is being heard from under water. The microphone seal is damaged during installation into the roof module.
