Service bulletins for the 2015 Audi A7

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

The customer may report hearing noises from the upper dashboard area when driving on poor roads, making phone calls, or playing music. The noise can be caused by unfavorable tolerances between the instrument panel speaker and the center speaker trim. A speaker that has been incorrectly installed can make the condition worse. Because there is no attachment to the trim carrier in the speaker cut-out, this area is the likely source of the vibration.
A461526 2042646-2017-11-17. Service bulletin. SERVICE BRAKES. Customer may complain about brake squeak or squeal with light moderate pedal pressure. The noise is created by the brake pad material. The supplier cannot currently produce this part in high volume due to factory capacity, which is causing a delay in part availability. It is possible that installing the original brake pad (part number 4G0698151D) will reduce the noise, but doing so is not always effective.

The summaries are NHTSA's. Each bulletin's page links NHTSA's copy of the manufacturer's document.
